... On the 12th day of ....

Just days ago, my wife has changed her medication to Obimin tablets. According to mothers, Obimin makes the baby active. Most of them also said that they could feel the baby's movement before the fourth month is due. I'm so excited to feel it. I've already started talking to the baby. Hmmmm.... it may sound weird, but it gives u the satisfaction. Trust me.

Just after few days of taking the Obimin tabs, Aidah started to feel electrical pulses. According to her the pulses comes and go. We come to a conclusion that the baby might be moving, changing his position. That's when she can feel the pulses, but, I guess, the baby knows better. Anyway, Aidah has started wearing her maternity pants as all her jeans are getting tight. U can actually see the bulging tummy without even squinting.

Let's talk about the baby this weekas she's getting closer to the end of the first trimester. Most of the baby's critical development will be left behind after the next couple of weeks, and the odds of miscarriage will soon drop considerably. I'm so relieved.

Measuring from the crown of his head to his rump, the baby is about 6 centimetre fetus and has all his parts, from tooth buds to toenails. The baby is busy kicking and stretching; his movements are so fluid they look like water ballet. That is why we come to a conclusion when Aidah felt the electrical pulses. Fingers and toes have fully separated. Now the fetus's main task during the next six months will be to grow larger and stronger until it can survive on its own outside the womb.

People says that a dark vertical line of pigmentation, called the linea nigra, may appear on her abdomen, but we are yet to see it. Her uterus has risen above her pelvic bones. She had lesser nauseatic feeling and looks as healthy as a horse. I beleive that my baby is keeping her busy with things and sleep. But that doesnt matter. All I need is for her to be happy and healthy. I guess that's every father's-to-be wishes....
