The Tenth Commandments

Hmmm.... the first ten weeks. Know wat my baby is like today? Let me tell u this.... the baby weighs under 10g — a fraction of an ounce — but is ready for rapid growth. At the end of the week, my fetus is bout 3.5cm long and resembles a peapod. All the body parts are now present, including arms, legs, eyes, genitals and other organs, though they're not yet fully formed. The eyelids are fused and won't open until week 27. The wrists are more developed, ankles have formed, and the fingers and toes are clearly visible. Arms are growing longer and bend at the elbows. By week's end, the inner workings of the ears are complete. Though you can't yet identify the sex of the fetus by ultrasound , its genitals have begun to form. By now the placenta has developed enough to support most of the critical job of producing hormones

By the tenth week of pregnancy, you may find yourself riding pregnancy's emotional roller coaster, feeling moody one day and joyful the next. Disturbing as this is to some women who pride themselves on being in control, what they're going through is normal and will probably continue throughout their pregnancy. Up-and-down emotions are partly caused by raging hormones.

Physically these ladies unlikely to look pregnant unless this pregnancy isn't their first, but they may feel very tired and sick — not necessarily in the mornings. Pregnancy hormones can also play havoc in other ways. Many women suffer from painful headaches and back problems.

So, watever it is ladies, I urge you to rest and take real good care of ursel. I am very sure. If u are pregnant now, and your husband knows bout it, you are already the queen!!! You can ask him for anything cos he is willing to be your slave. Just mention it.... backrub? Applying anti stretch cream? Make her Anmum's milk? Washing, cleaning, cooking, groceries shopping,.... Phew! The list will just go on and on and on....
